Our Impact
John Chance Land Surveys, Inc. has been mapping the Gulf Coast for five decades. Our experience and wealth of information makes us invaluable members of the community, especially when disaster strikes the area. Our GIS database is among the most extensive in the Gulf and can be used to locate assets and assess damage after a major hurricane. Our survey and acoustic imaging specialists are often employed to locate debris and exposed pipelines. Our FLI-MAP team was used to assess the levees in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, giving the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers a true geospatial picture of the damage.
JCLS team members are also active members of the community. Our fundraisers and events have raised thousands of dollars for worthwhile charities, both local and national.
