Introducing FugroViewer: a 3D geodata viewer

Fugro's geospatial services group has released FugroViewer, a robust freeware that allows technical and non-technical users to view, analyze, and communicate 3D geospatial datasets. Designed for use with photogrammetric, lidar, and IFSAR mapping data, FugroViewer makes it possible to:

• View your data: display elevation and terrain model data in varied perspectives; colorize TINs; overlay imagery and vectors on source 3D datasets
• Analyze your data: examine LiDAR point clouds by classification, flight line, return number, or source ID; generate contour overlays from the source data
• Communicate your data: collect and edit point-of-interest markers and create area-of-interest polygons; create graphics for reports and presentations
